I love the start of the new season, all the gear debuting and the schedule starting! Gonna be a great year
  2. Any idea when it will be made available to public?
  3. Thrilled to see a smaller head driver make its way back. Will be excited to try it!

I am curious about the mini driver as I do not know much about them. What kind of yardage are we talking about here. Is this to fill the gap between Driver and 3 wood? I am sure that many would struggle with the mini driver due to its small size and compact profile. I will have to demo one if they get them at my club.

I have been playing this type of club for about ten years. The length is around 43" to 43.5" so they are easier to square up at impact than a 45 to 45.5" driver. The heads are bigger than a conventional 3W so the forgiveness issue vs. the 460cc is not a big concern. I get more center hits with the mini than I do with a 460cc built to 45".

As for distance, I would say my driver is 12-15 yards longer than the mini. The mini is handy on tight par fours and holes where hitting through the fairway can cause a problem. I use the mini about 3-5 times a round on tee shots with excellent accuracy and about 10 more yards than I get from a conventional 3W.
  6. Looks great can’t wait for it’s arrival at our vlub
  7. This is awesome! I’ve been considering a mini driver for a while as a stock fairway finder, but I will definitely wait for the Titleist one. Still love the rest of my TSR woods, but I’m very excited to add this to the bag.

I have used my 13.5 Titleist F/D for a number of years with great success, glad to see Titleist is coming up with a replacement!
  10. This is a club I would very much like to know about. I am a senior golfer with a nine handicap and this club sounds like a good fit for my bag. Looking forward to learning more

Wish there was an 11* head but I’ll take this!
  12. Love mini drivers! Please don’t make it a limited production run like other companies have done in the past.
  13. I can’t wait to be able to add this to my bag. I added the TM brnr mini driver, but have always struggled to hit it as consistent as the rest of my titleist metal woods and have been hoping Titleist would make mini driver available beyond the tour… so I was beyond excited to wake up to the email this morning saying it’s now on tour, and not just a prototype!

A few initial questions: Any idea when it will be available to the public? How does it compare (size wise) to the TSR2+?

Would definitely like to throw one in the bag…if I can hit it off the deck successfully haha

    Awesome product!

  15. 71 yrs old, 8 hcp. 100 rounds/yr. Pro V1. I was struggling with my ‘19 Titleist driver, mis-hits late in the round, back pain from playing back-to-back days, losing to old age basically. I got a TM mini-driver early in the ‘24 season and had very good results. I found the sweet spot more often which I attribute to the shorter shaft. As a result, I lost little to no distance over my 11 degree driver. I found it easy to hit off the turf, although I did not trust my launch angle to carry hazards. I put the driver away and had good results in statewide tournaments. I would recommend a mini-driver to anyone looking to hit more fairways. I tinkered with the set-up and hit it higher by the end of the season. I’m sure Titleist has a great entry into the min-driver space. Happy New Year golfers.

  18. What's the difference between the GT280 and the GT2 fairway 13.5 degree?

The course I play is very tight off of fhe up tees (I'm 70 so I play the shorter layout), and I've been using my 13º TSR 3 metal as my driver. I'm really looking forward to seeing what gains in distance I can get from the GT280. If you need a senior player to test one, please send it along. Happy New Year!!
