The cart bags with all the individual dividers are nice, but I would prefer to have a cart bag with either 4 or 5 dividers like my stand bags.

I agree with Barry....I recently switched to a cart bag. I was disappointed that that I could not have a 5 way option in the 2017 Titrlist lightweight cart bag. Much prefer the design look of the 2027 bags compared to the 2018.

I agree with Barry. Same number of dividers as my stand bag. I find that too many dividers affects the the grips.

How can individual dividers affect the grips they don’t rub against the other clubs ?

5 0r 6 dividers for me. Once had a 14 way and almost bent a shaft pulling the club out of the bag. They always stick, in or out. If Titleist would make a cart bag similar to the cally Org 14 or 15, which has tons of pockets and storage with a 6 way divider, then I think Titleist would have a grand slam home run on their hands. No one else would have a bag like that on the market and it would be on the back of my golf cart the day it became available for sale.

The fewer dividers greatly eases the removal of clubs without stressing shafts or grips. Plus it reduces the effort for folks my age. Don
  11. Dividers must go all the way down the bag. This prevents the club from being snagged by other clubs.

Just bought my 2nd light weight cart bag in Sept. Went with the 2017 model. I just liked the looks more than the newer 2018 model. 14 is the way to go for me.

I agree I also like the look and the functionality of the 2017 bag over the newer bags, which is why I have not upgraded to the newer bags.
  14. I think 14 are better because the grips tend to stick to each other or abrade one another going or coming out
  15. I love my stand bag because it's compact, lightweight, and has backpack straps but when it comes to a cart bag I prefer 14 full length dividers. Every club has its place and there are no tangled messes at the bottom of the bag.

I personally have never experienced problems with grips in my 14 bag. I figured this would help more than hurt since grips wouldn't be in constant contact with each other.
  16. I agree with Ryan S completely. I even like 15. When not playing tournaments, I carry an extra wedge for practice.

I'd like 15 one extra for the most used club in my bag my ball retriever from the ponds on my course

I think less is more. It depends on the way you set up your bag.

I like 14 or 15, keeps my bag looking tidy and helps to prevent dings on my irons from them hitting each other.

I do not like the dividers. Guess I'm old school. 5 is plenty.

    Same here Larry.

I used to see guys with a bag filled with the old plastic tubes. They spent more time between shots finding the empty tube in their bag than playing golf. I love my players 5 bag also.

I selected 15. Because 14 for each clubs and 1 extra for possible (tour) line up sticks / extra practice club.

I selected less than 14. But just one less at 13 dividers. Thinking of the way I use a cart bag would be 11 dividers for the irons and two more larger sections for the woods and putter.
Given that a lot of putters have oversized grips these days, an individual section for it can be tight. I notice my oversized putter grip has scrap marks on the corners.
The two larger sections would allow for additional clubs to be carried for the on course or range practice sessions when I might have up to 17 clubs jammed in there.
My biggest complaint on the cart bags I have is that they are difficult to carry by the strap when you don’t use a cart, such as walking to the range or if you want to play by walking and don’t have a carry bag or push cart with you ( I walk with a push cart 90% of the time).
For a cart bag with less dividers I would choose six with four for the irons and two for the putter / woods.

My preference would be 6 maximum and only 5 other pockets (one for apparel & four for tees, balls, range finder & valuables). Less is sometimes more. As Richard pointed out above, it also needs to be easy to carry without a cart (from the parking lot to the carts, to the range, etc.).

I personally like the configuration of the midsize Tour Bags. Six inserts is plenty for me. Have used titleist cart bags in the past and went to the midsize tour bag in 2018. Really love it. Have midsize grips on all clubs and they fit better.
  27. Noted and agreed - Titleist please get this done!!!!

Not a big fan of cart bags. Never owned one. The Players 5 stand bag for walking or small Staff bag for cart golf are my preference. A cart bag pretty much weighs the same as a small Titleist Staff bag so why struggle?

I have both a cart bag and the new lightweight carry bag. I find the cart bag with 14 dividers handy to keep track of my clubs and make sure I have them all at the beginning and end of the round. I use the smaller bag when traveling as it fits into the hard shell much easier and makes room for shoes, etc.
  30. I love my mid staff bag, One more divider would be nice though for a total of 7

I prefer 6 dividers. My second choice is 5 dividers, which is my preference on stand bags. However, I usually use my staff bag or mid-size staff bag. Both work well on a riding cart or a push cart. 1 - 2 pounds difference in the weight of my golf bag really makes no difference to me. I prefer a sturdy, classic bag with 6 dividers.

I like the 14 in the cart bag. There is nothing more annoying than attempting to take out one specific iron and out comes 2 or 3 additional irons because the grips are jumbled together at the bottom of the bag.

Titleist 14 way cart or stand bags are great; I have both depending on whether I ride or walk.

Have a titleist cart bag currently. Looks to down size as I find i carry every piece of gear I own. My bag now weighs 50 lbs (exaggerated) but will need to walk more now!
