  1. I was so excited that I got my bag tag. I had no idea it was coming but it's the little things like that, along with great equipment, that keep me committed to this brand.

Couldn't agree more with the general feedback from this post... If these people want to make some quick money from a nice gesture, it shows you the kind of person they are.... I literally wouldn't give anything away for any price!

There is a big difference between the Cameron headcovers and the TT swag. You must PAY for the Cameron stuff, nothing comes as swag. Given that you pay for the headcover, you are free to re-sell it if you choose to and there is a market for the item. The TT swag is just that, swag. It is sent out to us as a thank you for being here and participating. Re-selling it should be grounds for removal from any list that gets you more swag. Now, if you actually paid for it then go ahead and re-sell it.

19hole, I wholeheartedly agree with that. I hope my comment didn't come off as me being against capitalism. Lol. If people have the time and patience to wait on the Scotty sales and pay for the stuff to resell, by all means, please do so. As we both said, there's obviously a market for it and people will pay obscene amounts of markup to obtain that merchandise. I just dislike it, because it pretty much assures that I won't ever have any of those great items, because A) I'm not paying those prices and B) I've heard way too much about how difficult it is to obtain them on sale day and my work situation doesn't allow for me to camp out on a website for releases. It's just hard to see a headcover or item that I would LOVE to have go to someone just looking to mark it up 150%, that's all.

As far as the TT swag goes, several of you made great points. It's a THANK YOU, a GIFT and it's frustrating to see people selling gifts from our perspective and I'm sure from the TT ambassador's perspective.

I just enjoy coming here and discussing golf with people I've never met before that have a common interest in a great brand. The fact that TT does anything at all for us is enough and I can see everyone shares sentiment.

Holy smokes! I agree, terrible for these guys to sell the stuff on ebay.

Is it bad I'm considering buying it because it so FREAKING AWESOME?!

I bet you will see a bag tag at some point in time. Cathi is great at making sure all loyal and active TT members do get one.

I have always appreciated the TT Swag and I never have understood people selling theirs.

I think the practice of selling the Titleist gift items is despicable! I am very appreciative of my bag tag. Anyone caught or exposed selling their gifts should be "cut" from the Team!

I agree, there are TT members who would like to receive any TT swag and you have people abusing the privilege of receiving the TT swag by selling it on eBay at exorbitant prices.
  11. Love my bag tag, just need to purchase a Titleist cart bag soon to hang it on. Think my Club Proshop will be getting some customized ones soon -- Would love the lanyard to use for my work ID Badge... someday hopefully if the golf gods shine on me. Would feel as good as a birdie to get one.

You find all kinds of stuff on the secondary market. Because TT items are relatively rare and popular, they are in demand. Seems like there is no difference between a TT member selling swag and a pro selling his. Everything has its price.

Maybe all that popularity is why jerks keep stealing my bag tag.
