I'm curious to know what everyone uses for a ball marker. I've seen people use standard markers with logos, pocket change, and even tees. Do you use anything special to mark your ball on the green?

poker chips for me, unless the person I'm playing with says its off-putting.

and then change to a small flat marker that I got from my pitch repairer.

I use an old Newport Bridge token. Its worth nothing now that the bridge uses Speed Pass and the bronze token works great.

I use the same marker that Gary D. does. I used to use a ball marker I received from the Porsche Motor Company back in 2012, but after playing in a scramble last year it is now long gone. I also like to use coins from Aruba, but they are a bit too small for my liking.

I recall a similar question in the past. I tend to use special ball markers I picked up during my trips to far off courses. I have markers from my trip to Scotland as well as many PGA Tour courses in the States. I like the double sided ones in particular. Our home course has ball markers with blue on one side and white on the other. It is great as I always mark with the white side up unless I have to move my marker. Then I flip it to the blue side as a reminder that I have to put it back :)

I've use an old coin from the Czech Republic. When my friends gave it to me i noticed it was magnetic so I've been using it ever since.

I rotate my Team Titleist marker with one I got from Hawaii a couple years ago. Depends on the mood.

The club I belonged to had gloves that included a magnetic ball marker with it, so every time I bought a new glove I got a very nice marker. I changed clubs this month, so I'll probably use my Titleist marker from here on out. I do have about 300 promotional poker chip markers in my office, but I'm not a fan of that style. Too distracting for other golfers.

I have a few I rotate through. The best one I have would the one my wife got me for Father's Day a few years ago. It has my kids names on one side and their actual hand prints on the other. Unfortunately I'm so paranoid I might lose it, I don't use it much. I also have a couple of FJ markers I use and just before Christmas I got a TT marker I'll add to my bag for next year.

The street i grew up on is Polk Ave. It was a full neighborhood that every street was the Presidents of the U.S.

I got myself a presidential coin, $1, James Polk coin and use that to mark my ball!

reminds me of home and being younger!
