Particularly if I am switching brands because it would not be right to put my new Titlest irons in a png bag.

My new AP2'S are so nice I could put'em in a burlap sack and they'd still stand out.

My Titleist walk bag from 10 years ago still looks great, so NO.  I won't be purchasing a new bag for my new irons.

Hello Team Titleist. I have only owned two sets of clubs and I did purchase a new bag.for both of the new sets.Great question. And when it comes time for my third set...I'm sure they will be sitting in another new bag as well!

If I'm dropping a large amount of cash on new irons. I wait and buy the bag later, if a new bag is needed.  My last bag I replaced was because I needed a cart bag instead of a stand bag. Without needing to replace my irons.

    no

  10. I use a staff bag and they usually last (I take care of my stuff) for 10 t0 15 years. I become disenchanted with my clubs long before the bags wear out, so no I do not consider new irons a group purchase.

I usually take good care of my bags, and they last as long as my irons. So yes.

Of course. Just picked up my 716 AP1s. Put them into my mid-sized staff bag and the feng shiu was just off. So, got a new 9.5" staff bag. Everything is correct in the universe now. Go in peace.

A new set of irons deserve a new bag, because I'm also going to get new driver, woods and wedges, then I'm taking the old set down to Murrells Inlet to replace that old set of clubs!  I don't have to hide my new set because my wife will just say that's my "birthday gift to you, Happy Birthday"

ps; I'll more then likly keep the same putter!

As much effort in selecting new irons or woods should also extend to your bag. No new bag with the clubs automatically. Recalling many of my past and present bags: how many pockets, full tubes or just partial, cart or walking, small, midsize, large, small or large zippers, color or color schemes, a single strap or walking back straps, cost, and most important is quality. Many bags regardless of the cost/value combination have early on quality problems with zippers, cloth failures, stand rods failing, pockets liners hang-ups when inserting or removing clubs. And now with more car travel, a smaller bag to fit easier into the car along with other luggage.

Back in June I bought a set of 714 CB's.  Once I purchased the irons I had to get a new bag, so I opted for the Staff bag as my last 3 bags have also been staff/tour bags .  I just really like the size and functionality of them.  But, since we travel, I also purchased a lightweight stand bag that fits really nicely into my travel bag.
