  1. My best shot would probably be today. Had a tough time getting to the green as I had to cross water and then hit out of the rough twice, but putted a 25 foot putt and sinked it with a Titleist Velocity.

playing the 18th at Carnoustie with my ProV1. I had a 7 foot putt for par but unfortunately it just lipped out. The best bogey of my golfing career!

My best shot with a Pro V1x was in the UK in the 1996 Club championship at Goodwood golf club near Chichester. The 1st hole was a Par 5 playing downwind - after a good drive I hit a 4 iron to within 2 inches of hole. Really nice way to start the day with an eagle on my way to my 1st Club champs win!
  4. My best shot was played on our 186 yard Par 3 12th at Tullamore Golf Club Ireland.I selected a 4 iron and what a sweet hit off the centre that landed on the green and rolled up and into the hole for an ace.Unfortunately I was playing in a non competitive fourball which means no recognition except myself and my partner won the day and I had the joy of having my first Hole in One.

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

My greatest shot was at Mannings Heath Golf Club some 23 years ago. The scene of the Sussex Team Championship Final against Ham Manor and in the stage had reached the afternoon singles. On the par 17th hole I was only one up. The hole was the 17th a very reachable par 5. I was the whole length of the green away from the hole say 60 feet in three while my partner had hit a great shot and was about 15 feet from the hole in only two shots. I was one up and the team score was very close. I managed to hole the putt my partner missed and I went on to win the match on the 18th. The final team score was 6.5 Worthing GC to 5.5 Ham Manor GC (Worthing would of lost on count back if the score had been tied). Worthing Golf Club had won the Sussex Team Scratch (8 man) for the first time in 20 years. We had a very talented team with Scotty N, Scotty W, Joe D , Nigel (Harry) H all off a handicap of scratch or better. I was probably on paper the weakest team member off handicap of 3.

The best shot I've ever hit with my pro v 1 was at the centenary course at Gleneagles. I played a BMW event as a team titleist guest. The 5th hole is the hardest hole on the course. I loaded a tee shot right and out of sight so reloaded same flight - thinking this was to be a no score hole I headed in the direction of my drives, to my joy the hole opened out and up on a verge were my 2 tee shots.

I picked 5 iron, with a blind shot and a pond at the front right of the green I took aim with the bunker on the left as my bail out. It took off, perfect contact and line. As I ran over the hill there it was an inch from the flag.

  7. 214 yard 4 iron, one putt Eagle. Several chip in birdied but the Eagle approach the most memorable!

My best shot with a Pro V1 was a long time ago, September 24, 2008. It was on the twelfth hole, a par 3, 130 yards, with a 6 iron. As soon as I hit it, I said, "that's perfect" and it was.

My most memorable shot with a PRO V1 was my second shot into the 9th at St Andrews old course. After Carving my drive right into the rough I hit a sweet wedge about 100 yard onto the front of the green. Rolling up closer and closer until it dropped in dead wait for an eagle 2! To make it better my 3 playing partners and caddy were all standing on the green to watch it go in from close up.

With golf being open in Wisconsin for a few weeks now, I have an update to my best shot with a ProV1. I took advantage of the nicer weather earlier this week to make a quick trip over to Sand Valley.

The day started with a round on Mammoth Dunes. The layout and conditions were fantastic with the steady 15 mph windy making it a bit more challenging. A quick pit stop for lunch and a few ice cold beverage before our tee time on The Sanbox (Par 3 course).

We were greeted at starters station and got our scorecards and ballmarkers and informed that they already had 2 holes in one that day. Well low and behold I would make it 3 for the day by making an ace on the 9th hole. I relied on my trusty ProV1 #35 and used my SM8 Raw 54 degree wedge to hit a nice half wedge shot to the front of the green and utilized the contours of the green and watched the ball take its journey past the pin and up the slope and work its way back down finding the bottom of the cup. Talk about a great way to cap off an even better day.

Several holes later we heard another roar and come to find out another player made a hole in one on the 9th hole, making it a total of 4 hole in ones on The Sandbox that day.

A 18 degree TS2 fairway wood at No 17 on East course at East Sussex National.

I'd played pretty poorly over the previous holes on our shotgun off the 11th and was going with driver as I had when I previously played the hole 3 months earlier.

When my team members all took long irons I switched to my 15 degree TS2 and found the centre of the fairway. The distance to the flag for my 2nd shot was exactly on the number for my 18 degree as per my fitting and it stopped pin high 6 foot left and I rolled it in for birdie net eagle.

I'd earned my place on the team and we went on to win which just happened to be a TT event.

  14. From Denmark with homeclub Copenhagen Golf Center GC on vacation in Scotland. Played Kingussie GC situated within the Cairngorm National Park, an old Tom Morris & Harry Vardon Course. At the 15th hole, a short 91 yards called "Little Gynack" because you are playing over the river Gynack, I made my second HIO. Played with Titleist ProV1 ball and 52° Cleveland gap wedge.

...2 hole-in-ones at my home course in Woodstock, Ga. The 1st was back in 2013 on hole 4, a 151 yard 8 iron with a ProVx, and the 2nd occurred on hole 14, a 140 yard 8 iron in 2015 with a ProV, again, both at Towne Lake Hills Golf Club in Woodstock GA.
  16. Early February this year... 18th hole of Carton House (O'Meara) in Ireland. About 190 yards to the green, almost fully blocked by a giant oak on the right hand side of fairway after tee shot, needed to aim real left at the river on the left hand side along the hole to avoid the tree, luckily wind was cross from left to right, took a fade/slice shot with my hybrid, and fortunately my birthday numbered Prov 1 made a big turn and landed softly on the green, didn't make a birdie but still very happy with the dramatic shot, par was enough to win a meal and pints of Guinness over my friend.

  17. The best shot that I can remember playing a ProVI is a bunker shot over a high lip and about 30 yards from the pin. I hit the shot but cannot see where the ball landed because of the lip so upon surveying where my ball went I look in the cup and there is was! The only chip in I have had from a bunker and the ProVI provides the spin needed.

A while ago I was playing with a foursome. You couldn't see the green because of a huge long hill in the fairway and I thought it was a par 4 so I took out my driver and hit a good shot down the middle. Everybody said what are you doing it's a par 3. The green was actually about 100 yards past the top of the hill, but I didn't know thinking it was a par 4. I found my ball about 150 yards past the green took out my iron and hit the ball. It landed 2 feet from the hole and I got a par! Only a Titleist could do that.

ProV 1, 182 yards Par 5, I just hit a tree on my second shot on the left side of the fairway to have the ball back in the center of fairway again. On my third shot I used my 5 iron, 3/4 swing the ball bounced twice and into the hole for an Eagle! The hole location was front right of the green, protected by two deep bunkers. By far one of my favorite shot with a Titleist ProV

Apar 5 got me best ever lovins . a Knock down 2 iron was the way to calmly pound that wet cold ball..this is dank! It scorhed hot and low and decompressed at 5 ft 50 yds and leaped spitting a vapour ring. As it ballistically shook the dew off and I was rolled on hot and hit the pin..it was an eagle putt look .got the bird. My hands felt great. Not sore. Thefeeling is better than cloud nine. Fred estair all day with that ball. seriousexfollowed a typicalz gunned low ceiling 25 ft. Rippin barely fade 290 relaxed low ceiling fade to center fairway that only ever saw andespite k hedwindwith my Yonex ADX tour. That ball can take zero spin like nothing else staylow and straight never overbite ng. I don't often backspin anything anyway...you allknow it's a last resort. But it's no problem to make it curls and suck to cup too
