First round of the day June 13, 2011 Kingsbarns Golf Links, Scotland. We went over with a foursome and this was our last day to play. Kingsbarns in the morning, the Old Course in the afternoon. We were on the back nine of Kingsbarns, playing the 12th hole Orrdeal, a 566 yard par 5 along the North Sea. The wind was fresh off the water. I hit a good drive and a good second shot. I still had 170 left to an elevated green, right to left shot. Anything left or long is in the North Sea. I hit the best iron shot I can remember to 3 feet and made the put, very thrilling, especially with friends with me.
  2. My best shot was at Pinehurst #2 on the 18th hole. My second shot landed 5 feet from the hole and seeing Payne Stewart’s Statue while I was waiting to putt for birdie, yes I made it!!!!!
  3. 10 years ago, my wife and I went to Hawaii for her 50th ... played 15 rounds in 14 days. We play match play and were tied on the final round before we were scheduled to depart. The 18th at Waialea is a par 5 and I was down 1 on our match. Hit a 3 wood from 245 yards over a bunker to 3 feet for EAGLE to tie the match. Since we had a late flight out, I suggested a 9 hole playoff ... she said NO! And we left Hawaii tied after 15 rounds!

That's my "EAGLE shirt" in the bag ... get a new shirt with every EAGLE!

  4. Best shot I’ve ever had with my proV1 Was on December 12, 2019. I was playing with my golf coach in on the par 3 15 hole at The club at Lake Sinclair. I had 187 yards wind into the face and I hit my AP2 five iron in the hole! My first ever hole in one!

  5. I hit a 225 yard 5 Wood Draw through the trees, over a bunker to a back hole position to 3 feet For Birdie

  7. Afew years back I'm down in Mesquite NV playing Falcon Ridge. Playing with my buddy his father and another friend 2nd day. 1st day played crappy when to the club house had to deal with the ribbing of two old guys giving us kids (45) grief.
2nd day they start the talking before ever teeing off. Hit my driver perfect, every shot just what I wanted. I'm 5-6 under coming up a 118 yd par 3 up hill you can only see the flag take my gap wedge hit it nicely every one hits go to the green can only see 3 balls I'm looking on the fringe, sand past the hole nothing. One of the old guys walked up said he found it in the cup, I'm like right he reached down pulled out my pro v #2 with my mark. Hole in one never saw it go in. I can remember if it the next hole or one after another par 3 down hill paying about 140 hit it, it bounced once stopped I don't think it could be any closer for it not to fall in but it didn't. My best round of golf ever shot -12 under. I have never had that good of a game since. But a least once what a great round.
  8. I was at HorshamValley golf club
On #6 was a par 3 of 125 yards. I took out my pitching wedge and hit the ball. It was an up hill shot so when it landed on the green i could not see it. As we got up to the green we saw that the ball was in the cup and i had a hole in one

It was my second shot into the par 5 thirteenth at Essex County CC during US Open Local Qualifying in 2018. I had 264 from the left rough. I chose 5 wood. As soon as I hit it I knew it was going to be good. I didn't realize how good. It found the bottom of the cup for my first albatross ever. I picked up 2.75 shots gained, according to Mark Broadie.

My golf buddy and I were playing in a CGA Senior 4-ball at Greensboro CC. We were +2 net going into the last hole, a par 3 and neither of us were getting a stroke on the hole. I told my buddy “the only way we get to even par is we get a hole-in-one”.

I took a brand new Pro V1 with 4 red dots (one for each grand kid) and hit my 5 hybrid (146 yards to the pin) on a straight line to the pin, the sun preventing us from seeing the ball as it landed on the front part of the green.

When we got to the green, I looked at the front and on the green and did not see the ball so proceeded to look at the back for my ball. My partner and our other two opponents helped to find the ball. I then hear my buddy say “Your ball is in the hole!”.

Although we finished last in our bracket at even par, my ProV1 (with the 4 red dots) made the day a memorable one.

  11. June 10th, 2011 I hit my only hole in one at the Tribute in Frisco, TX on a hole modeled after “The Postage Stamp” on Royal Troon. It was 116 yards with a strong left to right wind, and I lifted up to the left, on purpose, but thought I’d gone a little too left. The wind brought it back to the right, and it landed softly about 12 feet from the hole and started rolling slightly down the slopes green. One friend said “That could go in.” As I was replying, “I think it’s behind..” it dropped in.

We started going crazy, the people on the tee box in front of us realized what happened and started giving air high fives, and I bought a lot of drinks.

  12. It was a Sunday full field scramble at Swansea Country Club and being over 65 I was allowed to play from the forward (white) tees. My team has reached the 17 hole, a par 5 , tree lined left, reachable pond on the right. My teammates are playing the hole from 470 yards, I get it at 414. My teammates tee off and we have a couple of balls in position on the fairway, since I'm playing forward I'm the last one to drive. I hit a Pro V1, played it left to right and it ended up close to the end of the pond but in play, 159 yards to the hole. I usually hit 3rd on approach shots and was debating with myself, 7 iron vs 8 iron? i knew if i hit the 8 I would be below the hole with a slight uphill putt. Since our captain, Craig, had an reasonable eagle putt i pulled the 8 iron and stepped on it, figuring nothing to lose. What happened next was my best shot with a Pro V1, my 8 iron sailed straight and high, right at the pin and settled inside 1 foot of the hole. Eagle! And a tournament win for the team. I always play Pro V1, best performing ball for my swing.
  13. Hole in One @ Torrey Pines South, 11th Hole, 206 yards. A day I will not forget.

Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

My best shot was my 3rd life timeout hole in one. My son was playing with me and asked me before the round when was I going to hit a hole in one when we played together. (I had had one earlier in the year with some close friends.) I told him I’d do the best I could to accommodate him. On the 5th hole I hit a cut 8 iron into the wind on line with the flag stick. One bounce & into the hole! Holes in one are always memorable but this one was more so as it was with my son.

I had broke my back from a horse falling on me and lost the use of my right leg I missed the game so much I started playing one handed using my Walker it was a par 3, 147 yrds over water I teeded up my pro v and took out my 7 wood I cut down and swung away ,the ball went into the water and skipped about 8 times then ran on the green still running uphill eventually coming to a stop about 2 inches from the cup .it might not have been my best athletic shot it was just all pure luck ,but for a moment it made all my pain go away. I love golf
  16. 17th hole at PaaKo Ridge in NM. Elevated tee at 6000 ft. above sea level. Best drive ever at 312 yards. I'll never forget it. Even my playing partners were impressed.
  17. The best shot I had with a pro v1 or pro v1x was when I got the same score on some of the par 3 as my dad at my course and it shows how much potential I have with pro V1 and pro v1x
  18. 2012 Match Play Championship 3rd extra hole a long par 4. My drive was right blocked by trees from the green so I tried to play back into the fairway but hit a tree and my ball came to rest in rough next to the next hole a par 3 but deeper in trouble. I took out a rescue club and was able to play a high draw over the trees onto the green for a 2 putt win!
  19. First time playing Chambers Bay #17 in Fall 2018, par 3 into the wind, 201y. Good discussion with caddie, pulled 5i, addressed ball, didn't feel like enough club. Started to back off for a 4i, wind died, stepped up and hit it. Pro V1 on the sweet spot, one of those swings that you barely feel the ball. 3 yard baby draw into a far right tucked pin. If you get the chance to play Chambers, a right side #17 pin is a nightmare. Tournament strategy would always be just to go for center of the green, especially from the tips. Ball landed 3' from hole, came to rest about 8' away. Never forget that sound of solid contact, the ball flight, how long it felt like it was in the air, the smile from caddie Jay, and the amazing view out onto the bay. (I did forget how I missed the birdie putt...) Thanks Titleist, been a Pro V1 guy for many years.

  20. Definitely my tee shot on the road hole #17 at St Andrews. A little back story..my clubs were lost by the airline on my way to Scotland so here I am playing a rental set (even though I had just custom fit into a TS3 a few weeks earlier). A few holes into the round, I found the previous renter had adjusted the cally driver(gulp) to play a fade but knowing nothing about this brand I decide to play the fade all round. Enter 17..and I’m faced with entering someone’s hotel room or playing it safe but very long. I take the aggressive route and hit my ProV1 with just a slight fade to 190 out. Nothing beats the intimidation of hitting over a hotel for the first time, not knowing what awaits on the other side. Thanks to the consistent performance of my ProV1!
