  1. I was on a Par 5 Dog leg right hole with trees at the curve. I have played this hole many times and have always enjoyed mixed results. I decided to pull my Driver instead of my 3 wood. I tee'd up my ProV1x and striped the best fade I have ever hit. 560 yard Par 5 and I ended up with short Iron to the green and landed it 12 inches from the cup! My first Eagle ever and my friends were shocked as I have only been playing Golf about 2 years. The ball did exactly what my intention was.

Of course, I have also had four holes in one, three of which were with Pro V1 balls.
  4. My favorite shot was last June 5th at the Lakeview Resort in Morgantown WV. It was hole number 12. A 187 yard par 3. I used my 3 wood and hit a Titleist Pro V1 for my 2nd Hole in One.
    I started golfing when I was 50. I am 60 now.

My absolute best shot with a ProVIX. is a hole in one, on the 160 yd, 11th hole, at Crystal Springs GC. At 75 trs of age this was the hi light of my golfing.
  7. I’d say this one

It was almost 14 years ago today, May 5, 2006. I hit a 2 hybrid on a 221 yard par 3 6th hole at the Country Club of Paducah. I was in a foursome and one of my playing partners made a Hole-in-One on the 140 yard second hole. We were pretty excited for him (he was playing a Titleist too). You can imagine how excited we were when the second Hole-in-One took place! I had a second Hole-in-One 10 years later on hole # 12, a 145 yard par three. Both of these were with ProV1x golf balls. I have played Titleist golf balls since my junior golf competition days I am now 66 so I have played Titleist golf balls for a long time!

7/17/19- Hole #4, Par 3, 137 yards at Minakwa Country Club in Crookston, MN. Beautiful evening for golf. Hit an 8 iron and my Titleist Pro V #3 went directly into the hole, didn't bounce or hit the green. I dunked it if for my first ever hole in one! Such a great feeling!

  10. In 2019 I was playing with a random group of strangers. Anxious to show them I could play, I promptly pulled my first drive off a tree on the par5 opener, barely missing another group. I had to ask them to move so I could chunk my way back to the fairway, not my best effort.

The best shot came then, 220 out, downhill, stuck my 5-iron to a foot for a tap in birdie. Reputation restored.
  11. My first ever tee shot on an Open Championship Course! Ironically, I sank my last putt on 18 with the same ball!

I've been fortunate to have few hole-in-ones. I'm not that good I just play a lot of golf. My favorite was on #11 at Northwoods Golf Club in Columbia, SC. We're playing a fivesome in the Saturday morning dog-fight and the beverage cart girl rides up. I hit a snap hook that's headed OB, it hits the base of tree shoots across the ground 10 yards hits the flag and goes in.

I was using a Titlest but before the ProVs....on a Friday the 13th, I was playing in a threesome. On the 3rd hole, I found 3 four leaf clovers. It started raining on the 6 hole and temps dropped about 20*. On the 9th hole, I used my 9 iron, my Titlest 1 and hit my shot 109 yards into the hole! We thought I had to finish 18 holes to record it, so we finished playing. I shot a 99 and we were all looking like drowned rats!!! Everyone else had quit, so when we came in there was no one around except the bag boys. What was the most unusual part?? It was also the anniversary of my Mother’s birthday.
I do use the ProVs now!
  14. I was playing on Sunday in a two-day club weekend tournament.

The last hole was a 485-yard par 5 with a lake along the entire right side tee to green. I figured I was 2 shots out of the lead going into #18. I drove in the fairway, and was out 222 from the pin. The green at the end of the lake had tall-ish trees at the end of the lake that I had to carry to hit the green. Othersise it had to lay up. I figure the only chance to tie was to go for birdie. Going for the green, I hit a Titlest#2 using a 14.5 degree 3-wood.

The ball looked like it cleared the trees, but I was worried it might have hit a tree and kicked into the water right. When I got near the green, I could not see my ball anywhere. Just before I dropped a new ball to hit my 4th shot, someone said "check the cup."

There it was. The only double eagle I ever had. I won by 1 shot. I bought a lot of beer.

Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

Poipu bay on the 17th hole in may 2017
200 yards downhill with 25 mph cross wind with six iron . I saw it land on the green and lost sight because of the glare . Didn’t see it when we got to the green. Looked all around the green and finally tipped toed up to the cup and there it was. Costed me couple of hundred dollars in drinks since it was a bachelor party but won all the skins
    Definitely worth it
  16. September 1, 2018 playing the first round of a two-man match play event. My partner and I were going well and had actually closed out the match on the 6th hole, which was our 15th of the day. I had played particularly well, having chipped in 3 times (once for eagle and twice for birdie). Instead of heading to the clubhouse after finishing off our opponents, everyone insisted that we finish the round because they all knew where my round stood - even par with 3 to play. After two consecutive mundane pars, we came to the 9th hole (again, our 18th of the day), an uphill 136 yard par 3. With elevation and a slight breeze into us, I figured it was about a 150 yard shot. I hit a smooth 7 iron to 6 feet left of the pin. That shot was just pure, but the ensuing 6 foot putt broke about 8 inches from left to right on the green that sloped from back to front. The second I hit the putt, it never had any place else to go but the bottom of the cup - my first (and only) time to break par. And my Pro V1 took me there!
  17. The best shot I've hit with a ProV1 was one of my two hole in ones. October 2nd, 2004, Eighth hole at the now defunct Riverview Golf Club in Loudon, TN. A 165 yard par 3. I hit a high soft shot that was about four inches to the right and in front of the cup with an 8 iron. One hop left (I'm a lefty and I hit a slight cut shot that day) and it hit the flagstick about an inch up and dropped into the hole. First hole in one ever. Saved the ball in an engraved glass done .

  18. It may not be the best but it was most memorable. I'm playing a match play event and I'm 3 down with 4 to play. The 15th hole is long over water at the green. Incredibly strong winds blowing directly in my face. From my fairway lie I would on a normal day hit a 5 iron; that day I'm looking at a 4 wood. But I was afraid of getting the shot up too high in the wind and thought 3 wood. The only problem was I had just bought the 3 wood and had not hit it off the fairway at all. But I figured I had no choice so I lined up on my ProV1x, hit it dead solid and landed on the green about 15 feet away. I didn't make the putt, but won the hole. (In fact, I won that hole and the next 2, going into 18 all square. Now before anyone thinks this is some Cinderella story, we halved the last hole after I three-putted.) But I will always remember that 3 wood shot.
  19. my best ever had to do with 2 titleist balls 1st hole in one ballada ball at 12th hole Alling Memorial golf club new haven ct..using a blond TM 5 wood par 3 @ 212 yds And the 2nd hole in one pro v1 ball at tradition golf club, wallingford ct. 15th hole using an 8 iron 140 yds

I made a hole in one on June 24, 2019 with my ProV1. 171 yards with a Titleist 23 degree hybrid. I t was my second hole in one. The first one was made 50 years earlier at the same course (not the same hole). It may not have been my best strike, but an ace is an ace!
