  1. I'm a senior golfer age 66 & play 3x per week with a 12 handicap but not a great wedge player. I currently play graphite , R flex, 65g shafts in my irons. I've tried graphite shafts in wedges but don't like the feel. What type of shaft & flex would be best for me for my wedges?

    Larry B;
    That is a great question that I will be asking for my self as well. As a matter of fact, I will actually be going to be trying them in a fitting session.

    Have you heard of Titleist Thursday? You'll need to check this out- Here is what it's about: www.titleist.com/.../introducing-titleist-thursdays-coming-to-courses-nationwide

    I've made an appointment and I can't wait for it. The website above has the link so you can book a time with them.

    Good luck and enjoy your fitting session!

    Me too, I will be 70 in September and went in for a fitting last week. Got the same shafts that I got for my new 716 AP1 irons. XP105 s300 shafts. The last set I bought in 2013, I made the mistake of not getting the same shafts, had XP95 shafts on my 714 AP2s and S200 shafts on my wedges. This time I added a little weight and ensured that all the shafts matched. Was having issues with all my irons. Too light and lie was wrong. Once the fitter got me dialed in was drilling my 7 iron around 160 yards, which is really good for me. I figure with the new clubs and a little adjustment, I can get my handicap back down to a single digit where it belongs. Has ballooned to a 14., due to poor iron play. Go see a fitter if they are in you area during the Thursday fittings. Cost you nothing but a little time.
