    Greetings,

Does anyone know if the tour chrome finish on the new SM6's that's available to the general public is the same finish the pro's on tour have on their SM6's ?

From the photos I've seen from the touring pros wedges the finish does not appear to be as shiny and a little more dull?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

They raw wedges. That way they can make grinding adjustments easier.

A lot of pros prefer the raw finish (in technical terms, the raw finish is no finish). I have seen some players using Tour Chrome too as a matter of preference. The absence of the finish helps reduce glare from the sun and also provides some extra texture on the face as it ages.
  5. NO, it is not the same finish...raw is the finish the pros have. Believe it or not, most amateurs do not like Raw since it rusts over time. Many amateurs like their wedges to look new over time not more used....! I am doing the same thing you are probably doing right now...SMH.

A pros probably get new wedges rather frequently. Hey big boy, just ordered the new SM6, Chrome Finish, of course, 50.08 F and 56.14 F XP105 stiff shafts with velvet midsize grips. Went to the Titleist fitting Thursday. AP1s also. All your fault. Thanks. =)

    Thanks for the feedback!

I personally do not like the shiny chrome look
just a bit bright for my taste!

I prefer a more subdued or satin finish on wedge.
Looks like steel grey for me????
