    Hey TT - I'm headed to the Charlotte area in June. Any courses that would recommend playing when out there? Open to making a drive. TIA

    I would say Pinehurst (2 hours from Charlotte) but with the US Open in town that month, may not be the best time. I have heard good things about golf in the Asheville area.

    I will be moving to Charlotte, NC next year and I plan on getting to Pinehurst and playing all the courses. I will wait until the circus moves on from the area.

    Depends on how far you are willing to drive. Most of the clubs in Charlotte city limits are private. Head out of town for 30 minutes to an hour and you'll find probably close to 100 semi private and public.

    I've heard about Tobacco Road, I'll have to look into that.
