  1. Curious what everyone’s favourite courses are in the Palm Springs area to play? Heading down next month from Canada and looking to get in some rounds

A bunch of good ones, can't go wrong anywhere you end up playing. I seem to gravitate often towards La Quinta Mountain and PGA West Stadium. I play there in the summer season as winter rates are a bit pricey and tee times hard to get.

I would recommend Desert Willow Golf Resort (Firecliff & Mountain View) & Indian Wells Golf Resort (Players & Celebrity). You won't be disappointed. Have Fun!

Agree its not super pricey and a great track. For a great burger after the round I recommend Grill-A-Burger - Palm Desert, CA which is right down the road

    Great choices there by DaleV.
And like he said, it’s almost difficult to go wrong, however, there are the greats and then there are the funs.
Some of the greatest that I’ve played are The Classic Club and PGA West’s Stadium course.
But also in PGA West, there is a real fun one called Nicklaus Tournament Course. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a pushover, but it’s fun, challenging, and fair.
Desert Willow has two fun courses; the Mountain course and the Firecliff course being the tougher one of the two, but again, very fair and loads of fun.

Anyway if you have more time and would like to go outside of Coachella Valley, just an hour south of it is a course called Rams Hill- it is an absolute gem.

    Welcome and enjoy your stay!

I have been lucky enough to play the Palms a handful of times and really enjoy it.

If you're staying at a Marriott property and are a BonVoy member, the courses at Desert Springs (across the street from Desert Willow) aren't bad. I like Desert Willow better, but the two resorts are close together which is nice. If you can get on to a private course, they're all pretty good and pace of play will be better.
