My wife and I just got back from a wonderful weekend trip to SB. The weather was nice and sunny in the low 60's. We stayed at SB in an ocean view room which was really nice. Didn't golf this time as there was a pro-am tourney being held. I was going to play The Hay because I have four free passes but my friends that live near Pebble couldn't make it. Over the weekend, we drank some really good wines at Stave Wine Cellar and ate some really excellent food especially the dinner we had Sunday night at Peppoli which was outstanding. We sat in the outside dining area and had a wonderful view of the ocean. Started with some wine and then the classic Tuscan tomato bread soup, followed a grilled Tuscan T-bone for two, carved table-side, roasted potatoes, chicory & lemon vinaigrette and lastly dessert which was fairly new on the menu, CROSTATA DI FRUTTA
a roasted strawberry handmade tort with vanilla bean gelato & caramel sauce.
