  1. Finished a three day trip to Streamsong for a buddies trip. It is an amazing place. The courses were in great shape, and we had great weather all weekend. My ranking of their courses are 1) Red 2) Black 3) Blue. If you get a chance I highly recommend taking a visit. Next up is Kohler for 4 days next week.

Nice photos, thanks for sharing. This has been on my list since they opened. I have friends in FL, but, they don't want to play during the Winter rate times when I can make it down there. Hoping to get in early in 2020.

Great! I got to play Red a couple of years ago. Hoping to get back next year and play all three.

I've played all three (Black this past January) and I agree with your rankings. My advice for those going is to select the correct tees as some holes have longer forced carries.

The negative about Streamsong is that they are still building up their infrastructure and don't have ample rooms or much night life
  5. I'm going to Streamsong in September with a couple buddies and I am very much looking forward to it. I've never been. What is everybody's recommendations on caddies? I know if you take a cart you have to take a forecaddie. But I prefer to walk. Is there a certain course you MUST have a caddie, or one where it makes the experience that much more enjoyable to have one?

Walk them all with a caddie... not much more expensive than renting a cart and paying for a forecaddie. Course can be navigated first time using handheld GPS phone app, but the caddies will likely give you invaluable information, as many tee shots are deceiving and many of the greens require specific approaches.

I've got a trip with the group from my club. We're going down late March 2023. How hard are they to walk. I'm a member a CC in Northern KY and it is not friendly to walk so 2 of the guys aren't in walking shape. Not sure if I could do 54 holes of walking right now. I'd prefer to walk but I know some resort courses are walking friendly. Thanks for any insight. Can't wait to go.

We used carts and forecaddie during the Team Titleist Invitational this year. Courses are a bit spread out between tee boxes and sight lines can be difficult so that’s why they require use of a forecaddie. You should be okay.

Thanks Dale. Just saw you're hosting an event in CA. I'm hoping to go to the TT event at Victoria National in early June. Just recently joined TT but have been a loyal Titleist guy ever since my early PGA days. Now I'm just a lowly armature with dreams of being a player again!!!

I played Blue in April 2021. Ended up renting a push cart and walked it myself with a yardage book. Very enjoyable layout and quite a few memorable holes. When you are there from Wisconsin and hadn't really played much since the previous fall you just try to play well on a few holes and enjoy the walk. I'd love to go back and play the others. My sister in law lives in Sarasota so better than average chance I'll bring the clubs down again.

Played the Red course at the TT Invitational in September. Our event was cut short by two days due to Hurricane Ian. Got home in time to make preparations for its arrival in S Carolina. The Red course is a good links type course. The course plays pretty easy when you stay in the fairway. Guess it is that way at any course.

Definitely a beautiful resort. All three courses make you forget you are in Florida!

I played the Red and Blue on a trip Stateside with my son last June. Had planned to walk the courses but it was over 100 degrees and humid. Lucky to be paired with a guy from Tampa on the Blue and join a group of guys on a buddy trip on the Red and had a great time.

Personally I liked the Blue more than the Red but didn't have time to play the Black which I hear folks either love or hate.

Great place for a trip when in Florida.

As with any course, select your tees wisely. The courses are WIDE open, you won't find a more "sprayer friendly" facility. That being said, the forecaddies save you on the approaches/greens. The resort was built as a "true resort", but those days are gone in today's world. I love it out there, but bring what you need with you, you're in the heart of one of Mosaic's biggest properties.

Red was the only I played before the hurricane rolled through.. Great food and course... Only disappointment was NOT seeing any gators.. I was looking too!

Unfortunately, my experiences have been different than others. Poor course conditions made me question the expense. Weeds were numerous throughout the courses.

Played SS all 3 courses and couldn’t be more pleased. Fairways and greens were in stellar shape as well as bunkers. It was my first visit there and certainly won’t be my last. Loved it
