    Hey, Team Titleist.

It feels very strange to write this, but this week the world's best are gearing up for the final major championship on the 2022 PGA Tour schedule. We're barely into July! It feels too soon, but if we must bid an early adieu to the championship season, what better way than at the home of golf, with the 150th Open Championship?

It's been an action-packed year, and the majors have brought out the best in players trusting the #1 ball in golf – from Justin Thomas's second PGA Championship crown, to the remarkable validation of Matthew Fitzpatrick's U.S Open victory after winning the U.S. Amateur on the very same course nine years earlier. And if you're among those who consider The PLAYERS a fifth major, let's not forget Cam Smith's gutsy performance in the final round at TPC Sawgrass back in March. All big wins that define careers. All won with a Titleist golf ball.

Looking ahead to this historic Open Championship, these players – and an overwhelming majority of players in the field at St. Andrews – will be pinning their hopes to raise the Claret Jug on a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball.

Why? The reasons, as you'll discover in the videos below, vary from player to player, but there is a common theme among these former champions and Open hopefuls. The finest players in the world rely on Pro V1 and Pro V1x because these models offer the greatest combination of speed, spin and feel in the game. When it comes to their golf ball –the one piece of equipment that they need to trust on every shot – Titleist is the only choice.

NOT TO JINX IT, BUT... Titleist golf ball players have a chance to sweep the majors in 2022. Think they'll do it? Join the conversation in the comments below and tell us which player you think will triumph at the 150th Open Championship.

    Cheers!

I love The Open and links golf. Very challenging! The Open at the Old Course is the Holy Grail of golf. Hope to see a Titleist bag on Sunday. Will be watching Scottie and Cam closely. Going to have to hold off a hot Xander. Bottom line, going to see some great golf. Play well. =)
  7. Can't wait, hoping for another all TT playoff.

I would say chances are very good that a Titleist ball will be in the bag of this years Champion Golfer of the Year!

Hopefully it's Jordan, but am looking forward to a great championship.
