I made 4 during my teenage years and in my 20s. I haven't made one since I was 24 and I'm 70 now. Closest I've come is around 2' away.

I guess the only interesting story about one of mine is, I made one on the 1st hole at the Standard Club in Louisville, Kentucky. It's a dogleg left par 4 that goes slightly downhill for the last 100 yards. At the end of summer, it was sort of burned out and my drive got carried to the downhill part, contrary to any belief it could. The neat part of the story was, the group ahead of us had just left the green and saw the ball rolling towards them. They went crazy when it went in the hole. One of that foursome was my father.

Four years ago on a chilly April afternoon, I played hooky with a buddy...Playing Pine Trace Golf Club in Rochester Hills Mi., we reached the 13th hole...an uphill 174 yard par 3 with tree limbs overhanging the right side of the green. Trying (for a change) to play with some wisdom, I told my playing partner I was certainly not even considering going at the flagstick. Of course I pushed the shot...2 bounces and into the hole! I planned, God laughed!
4th Titleist hole in one!! none of them my fault!
