My first (hopeful of many) hole in One!
On 23rd March, we had our first major club competition of the year. It was a Foursomes tournament in the morning, followed by singles in the afternoon. The foursomes front 9 wasn't going to plan, therefore the back 9 we need to finish strong. I had chosen the odds, so I stepped up to the 13th tee box with 138 yards to the flag playing into a gentle wind from the south. Whilst my playing partner and other spectators were watching around the green they witnessed me hit the cleanest of shots that didn't leave the target. Taking one bounce and in! The roars could be heard from the other side off the golf course, even alerting the pro to see what the shouting was and where it was coming from. My partner also went on to win the club completion with a combined 108 stable ford point.
