I only picked up golf in the summer of 2024 and have only played with friends for a bit of fun. I turned up on a rainy day and stepped on the first tee with 3 of my buddies thinking we were only going to do 9 due to the weather. Was playing awfully yet the weather was getting better so we all agreed to carry on. When I stepped onto the tee box I didn’t really think about it. No practice swing, just swung. The Titleist ball came off the face like butter. One hop then drop. My friends and I sprinted to the tee box and we just couldn’t believe it. After saying I was going to quit golf on hole 8, to then getting a hole in one knowing I will now play golf for the rest of my life really sums up golf for everyone.
