I’ve been around golf my entire life. I’m sure there are others out there but in my 25+ years on the course I have yet to find anyone else with a hole in one while playing through a group!

My boss at the job I was working at the time wanted to take a ferry away from Seattle and play a special round at Whitehorse in Kingston WA. The ride out and the course were as perfect as you could ask for in the PNW. Excellent conditions on the day and come the par 3 152 yd hole 13. We approached a group of 3 that were willing to let us through. My boss hit first and hit a really nice shot to about 2 feet. Me being nervous, young and sheepish got up and no *** told all those old guys “I wont keep you boys waiting. I’ll just hit mine in and be on our way”. Well, I then proceed to pure an 8 iron with zero practice swing or hesitation directly to the center of the green. Turn around and start walking away thinking “sweet I’ll be in a good spot to have a shot at birdie and keep up with George”. Not a second before I got through that thought did I look up and notice every face in front of me staring at the green behind me and lighting up like they just saw a glimpse of a Christmas miracle. I turned around in time to see my ball one hop into the hole. I lost my *** and I still have the ball over 10 years later. Refurbished ProV1x. Always the ball of choice at home and on the course. Side note you can see George’s ball in this picture. It really was a hell of a shot too and lead to some fun dialogue before my miracle
