We were golfing in an outing at Rattle Run golf club in China Township, Michigan on Friday June 21, 2024. The outing was put on by the Michigan State Police Lapeer post. It started off as a beautiful morning and about halfway through the outing it began to rain. The guys in our fore some had both teed off and it really started to rain hard so we hid under some trees for about 20 minutes. The golfers behind us began to play again because the rain was starting to ease off. It was a par 3 approximately 105 yards so I grabbed my Titlest Pro V1 and my 7 iron. I swung my club and hit the ball. I saw it bounce once and twice on the green and then it disappeared. I just had a feeling and I couldn’t see my ball so I ran through the puddles and the rain to the cup. My husband thought for sure it probably rolled off the back but he knew when I started screaming that it was in the cup!!! Pretty sure everyone else in the outing also heard me screaming! My hole in one was hole #5! Best day of golf ever!
