I love Titleist Pro V1s and found a perfect unblemished one (#30) on hole #12. I used it on the very next hole, a 130 yard par 3 heavily guarded by traps. It was a back pin. I hit a high baby draw that landed about six feet from the hole. I took my eye off the green for second and when I looked back the ball was gone. My playing partner, Mark Coffey said it went it. I thought it rolled off the back of the green into the rough which is very common on this hole with a back pin. I did not want to get too excited only to be let down so I held my emotions in check until I looked in the hole and saw my ball sitting there. Then I let out a yell, it was my first ever, hole in one!
