I've only been playing golf since I turned 19, and at 22 I still can't believe I just had my first. The hole was short at 82 yards, but I'll take it. I took my 56°, the ball never left the pin, and I yelled "go in!" as the ball landed and bounced towards the pin, flashing down against the outline of the pin. Assuming the ball had gone past the hole, since I saw it bounce twice and then disappear from the elevated green, I walked to the back of the green to find my ball. Of course it couldn't be a hole in one. Well, I couldn't find it so I walked back to check the cup and words can't describe the head rush of emotion. A couple on the next hole that had heard me yell at my ball came back to sign as witnesses and take my picture, which you'll see below. I have to say my shock probably equalled my happiness--pretty evident in the pictures.
