My son Tyler absolutely CRUSHED his 7-Iron on the 158-yard, par-3 second hole at The Currituck Club! He totally ignored my suggestion to go with the 8-iron, thank goodness. His shot? Perfection. The ball soared, landed gracefully, and then it rolled right towards the flag and just VANISHED! While his brother and Pop (their granddad) took their turns, the anticipation was just too much. I couldn't take it anymore and urged Tyler to dash up and see before it was my turn to swing. The suspense was literally eating us alive! Tyler and his brother sprinted down the fairway, hearts racing, while Pop and I watched from behind, barely containing our excitement. And then—there it was, a moment of pure triumph: Tyler, arms raised high in victory, after having spotted his Titleist #77 ball snugly in the cup. A huge shoutout to Titleist for being part of this unforgettable moment!
