Not my hole in one, but a pretty crazy story. Me and my buddy were golfing at Taboo in June of last year and we got backed up at hole 10 behind a bunch of foursomes. A twosome behind us asked to play up with us and we said of course. They introduce themselves (first names only) and the one guy was playing the tips so we didn’t get a good look at him. Later we met up in the fairway and we realized that he was Tyler Seguin (NHL player Dallas Stars). Great enough story as it is just to play 9 with him. Hole 15, my buddy sends one right at the pin, the pin was a bit tucked so we couldn’t see the hole from the tee box. It started rolling and disappeared. We drove on up and there it was in the hole. That was the most electric moment of my entire life and I didn’t even get the hole in one! We got a picture with Seguin and he bought us all a celebratory beer to shotgun. Later on Golf Canada put it on their Instagram story.
