I hit a flighted Titleist AP1 716 9 iron to keep it out of the wind. The ball was slightly fading and tracking towards the hole. It hit the flagstick in the air, but we could not tell if the ball went in since the green is slightly elevated from the tee box. I looked over at my buddy with the expression of "did that REALLY GO IN"?!?!? He yells "Well what are you waiting for, hurry up and get in the cart so we can go see where it is." We get in the cart and put the pedal to the metal. Once we get to the green he starts recording when I get out of the cart. He gets up to the green first and he looks around and doesn't see it. I sarcastically say "with my luck, it probably bounced off the stick and went off the green." I walked towards the hole anxiously and stop a couple feet before to take a big breathe. Then I peak in the hole to see my yellow Titleist ProV1 sitting at the bottom of the cup. I yell a profanity as I bend down to get the ball then hold the flag and my ball as he finishes the recording.
