I have the older version, the 4UP StaDry and a 4 Players (not StaDry). The regular 4Players pocket opens up more, even can remove the pocket cover as the zipper goes all the way around. That would have created some problems keeping it waterproof so i think that's why the zipper is small on the StaDry version. This would work for me as i use the small side pocket for balls and would use the top pocket for things i didn't need to get to as often.

That's why I ended up getting the 14, even though it is heavier. I'm really happy with it.

I believe the Players 4, Players 5, and Players 14 all have the same style of front lower pocket that zips completely off. The 4UP StaDry and Players 4 StaDry have the small zipper that only opens at the very top to ensure the pocket remains dry. That's Felix's issue, that its hard to get your hand in and out, especially with a glove on if you use this pocket for balls and tees that would require constant opening.

I purchased one of these bags, and as Dale mentions, the small zipper is to help with the waterproofing. I don't experience too many issues though, as I am not constantly retrieving balls/tees from that pocket. Sure the additional pocket on the interior would be preferred, but I keep my tees/divot tool/ball markers in a Titleist accessories pouch to keep them separate and have no issues.

I have a question for someone with the 4 StaDry Stand Bag. I understand the top zipper is smaller compared to non-StaDry 4 Player Stand Bag. But I am curious to know if the inside of the bottom compartment has a elastic pouch like the 4 Player Stand Bag?

I have the 2016 4UP StaDry Bag, and the inside dividers are fraying, so I am looking to change the bag, but would really want that elastic pouch as it would help in holding the laser rangefinder.
