  1. Just wondering what the effect would be if I was to cut my motore speeder shaft from my driver and put it into my 915 f 3 wood. What would be the effect in flex swing weight, gram weight, and performance if any? The shaft is 44.5 inches and is 65 grams would like to cut it down to play 42.

    thanks

First, you'd have to swap the Sure-fit adapter from another FW shaft to your driver shaft to now use it on the 915-15. If that doesn't stop you, then the Titleist experts can tell you if the tip needs to be trimmed or if the driver setup trimmed off more than the recommended amount for a fairway. I'll assume the remainder would be cut from the butt end.

I had a driver cut down a couple years ago, the purpose was to use it to hit off the deck. It was cut from the grip end and went down 5",cut it to get close to a 3 wood. It stiffened the shaft up but still worked good.
