Players or Sta Soft Gloves

    Is there any difference between a Titleist Players glove and Foot Joy Sta Soft? I always like the Titleist logo to go with the Titleist gear. Anyone committed one way or the other?

    That's a good question. I have used the Titleist Players glove for years after switching from the FJ Stay Soft. I see FJ now has a glove called the Pure Touch Limited. Would love to hear some comparisons?

    Of these 2, I would play the Titleist Players. It is a bit softer than the FJ StaSoft. However, my glove of choice is the FJ Pure Touch Limited. It is the softest glove you can buy and wears as well as the Players.

    I think the Players glove is softer and thinner than the FJ glove. Does not last as long, but not much difference. Just going by what I feel.

    For me, I like the Players glove over the Stay Soft or Pure touch. The stitching in the palm is more subtle, or recessed, than on the Footjoy models. It feels smooth against the grip of the club.

    Pure Touch for me also. Played them about 2 years now and I love them. Soft, strong, and ling lasting.

    The Pure Touch isn't new...It has been around for a while...In fact I have two new ones that have never been used but are the wrong size (XL) that I need to trade for a large. Problem is none of the local golf stores carry them. Golfsmith did but they are now closed (lol)

    There are differences and they're all subtle. Myself, I prefer the Players Flex, but that's not to take anything away from the FJ gloves as I've gamed them for years as well. Gloves are as personal as grips, go with what feels the best for you.

    Players glove is A+ but the FJ Pure Touch is A++.

    I've bought several StaSof over the years but I was thinking I was going to make the move to the Players glove this year. Now everybody has me 2nd guessing myself and i may end up with the Pure Touch.

    I've used the Stasof for years but based on the previous comments, I may need to take another look at the Players glove.

    I prefer the Players glove. The leather is a little softer and lightweight. I have small hands and the Players fits great.
