good question Brian D....I looked at them as well and couldn't tell. There is a Footjoy forum that gave this info (best I could find when looking myself)

Dobby material usually has a small pattern, like a dot or a geometric shape -- it's a particular way to weave. So I don't think it's the same as a Cubic Mesh unless that was advertised as a dobby pattern.

I also looked at other descriptions on websites and found they mention sweatband for the Cubic Mesh but not Dobby and they mention UV Shielding for the Dobby but not the Cubic
