I like all the features and layout of the Titleist 14-way cart bag. However, one thing that's been a problem on the last two I've had is that the interior material in the individual club pockets wears or comes loose inside and makes it difficult to pull the club out. I also find it very difficult to get my putter out of the putter compartment. I do have an oversized grip on my putter, but it's the Super Stoke Slim 3.0, not the Fatso. I noticed that the 14-way compartment grid on this year's 2016 cart bag has been redesigned so that the divider material doesn't go all the way to the bottom on each individual compartment, just on the horizontal cross sections of the bag, and maybe the material is a bit stiffer, all of which should address this issue. Also the putter compartment is bigger so an oversized grip probably fits more easily. Can anyone confirm for me if this year's cart bag design has resolved this issue? Thanks.

  2. The dividers in the Titleist bag are individual full length dividers however I've had mine since January and haven't had an issue with anything and I love the bag

I have a 2015 14 way cart bag and I mainly use it on my clicgear cart. Sometimes I have trouble getting a club out but mostly trying to get one in is more problematic. The grips are bunched together at the bottom of the bag, I can twist one right and a different one twists left and so on, like gears. It is frustrating as it is the only flaw I have found, but it's the worst possible one.

Thanks for your feedback so far! In looking at the on-line Titleist brochure I see that my last two cart bags are the Deluxe Cart Bag which have the 14 full length individual dividers all the way to the bottom, whereas the Lightweight Cart Bag has the 14-way top cuff grid with 3 Full-length dividers like the Lightweight Staff Bag and the 14-way Stand Bag. This design looks like it will solve the issue of the material bunching around the grips, especially when the bag is on my 3-wheel push cart. Our Clubhouse has the Lightweight Cart Bag in stock and I think I'll go with that one. Thanks again!

Well, I went with the Titleist Lightweight Cart Bag available in our pro shop. Played a couple of rounds with it on my 3-wheel push cart and found it solves the issue I had with club grips hanging up in the bag. I also like the notch molded into the bottom of the bag which fits nicely into my cart frame and keeps the bag from turning sideways on the cart. This bag will live mostly on my riding cart (where it also fits nicely into the bag well) but it's nice to know it will work just fine on those days I decide to walk and use my push cart. Very happy with my purchase! Also bought a new 52-08 F grind Vokey wedge while I was at it. Love it!
