I have noticed this a few times, but am finally writing.  If anyone has noticed, the cooler pouch is against your backside when you are walking and very awkward to grab a water bottle underneath you.  To be more efficient the cooler pouch should be on the opposite side (right side when facing the ball pocket like my photo).  This way when walking you can take your hand, reach across the bag and easily grab your water while walking.  I suppose all of the zippered pouches and logo are bigger in terms of placement, but even the tour staff bags have water bottle pouches towards the bottom on both sides.
