  1. Sometimes, I see people in various golf forums or on YT say that they do not like it when their irons "click" or are "clicky" and occasionally I see that said in the context of Titleist irons (among other brands too).

For me, the sound of my T300s is not so much a "click" as a "thwack," I guess, and personally, I kinda like it. Helps me know I made good contact and am compressing the ball.

How about you? Do you like it or not like it? Just curious!

PS I am going to a fitting soon and plan to try the T200s and maybe the T150s. Do they make the same sound or are they more muted?

    Happy December everyone.

I have the T200 short irons and they do have a distinct sound (and feel) when you hit it pure.

After warming up with T300’s, my first strike with a T350 made the T300 comparable to a swoosh Sasquatch driver. I think it is mostly due to the forged face of the T350. So, yes, the 2023 irons are a different sound. If you like the T300, you can use them for another year until the 2025’s come out around September.

I love my 2021 T300 irons. After getting the lies adjusted, I have so much confidence in them. I never feel like I have to swing hard to get the desired flight or distance I'm wanting. I think the AMT red reg flex shafts have helped a lot too. I have the AMT Black reg shafts in my AP3s, but I definitely notice the weight difference with the reds. Have been contemplating moving on to the T350s, but they look pretty much the same except for the badging. Will probably wait a bit before making that switch.
