  1. If you need a fairway shaft that flies high, lands soft and you can also flight to hit low runners in the wind this shaft is awesome! Never been a GD fan but I got fit for this shaft in the gt fairway and instantly loved it. Matches great with the ventus blue driver shaft as well. Glad I got fit I’ve been searching for a shaft just like this one but never liked a GD before and never would’ve given it a chance otherwise!

GD shafts are expensive, but they make a shaft for everyone and every swing type. I tried a UB in my driver but got better results with the XC. Thought it would fit good with a fairway wood but refuse to give up my AD DI. Got the DI in my fairway, my hybrid, and my U505 utility. Amazing shafts.

Tough to beat the OG ADDI. Lots of guys on Tour still use them.

My first experience with GD shafts was in my TSi3 driver--went with the XC-6 in the S/R flex and it fits quite well, providing the desired trajectory and feel with consistent results. I ordered the same shaft in a 15 degree TSi 3. I agree they are expensive but would not hesitate to purchase another from the GD line when the time was right for anything new.

My problem with the Tour AD shafts (pre VF) were that they always launched too high. Then I got a TP 7X instead of the 6X and that thing was a low launch bomber. I'll have to say though, I went back to VENTUS Black. IMO Ventus can be beat. I have the TR Black 6X in the driver now, and don't think Ill go back to the Tour AD. My 3W and 5W are Ventus Black and Blue, and a 3i Ventus Blue. The Ventus in the 3i was game changing once I swapped it in.
