  1. I was fit into my T300 back in late 2021 or early 2022, can't remember for sure, and they have worked very well for me. Of course when the T350s came out, I read lots of reviews and forum posts here and thought they sounded great, but I have never gotten around to hitting them. Now that the new series has been out for awhile, I am curious about the thoughts of those that switched from T300 to T350. I am also very curious about those that went from T300 to the new T200. Thank you!

I was sure I would go from the T300 to the T350. Had always been a AP1 player before. The forged face on the T350/T200 are a dramatic change in feel from the T300.
In the fitting, we decided that the weaker lofts of the T200 would be better than a little more distance with the T350. Both had exceptional feel on center hits. Dispersion for me didn’t decline with the T200.
The full line of T series irons compliment each other. Work with the fitter on your best combination.

What is the distance difference you've experienced between the T300 and the T200 irons?

I’ve lost maybe 5 yards of carry, but the height is helping me hold greens better. I don’t keep stats, but I feel my proximity to the pin with the 7-48 irons is better. The distance is in part to the higher loft of the clubs. More distance only helps if it results in getting the ball in the hole with fewer strokes. At 75 and distance challenged, GIR is a challenge. If I can get closer to the hole with a GIR+1, I can save strokes with more 1 putts and fewer 3 putts. Certainly a unique case and (finally) stop chasing more distance.

I was in T300 and still have them as a back up set for friends/family to use when in town. My T350’s have been in the bag for almost a year now. There is quite a bit of difference in the look and the feel between the two. The look is significant due to the back plate giving the T350 a more traditional look. The forged face makes the impact softer, much more like the previous T200 model. Maybe find a rental set to take out and try for yourself. That’s really the only thing that matters, which iron works best for you.
  6. Don and Dale, thank you both very much for your replies. I have a fitting scheduled with a Titleist fitter in December, so I am looking forward to trying both the T350 and T200. I am a 17 HCP and not a very long hitter, but I generally hit it straight or with a draw, and usually keep the ball in play over a round. My game has gotten to the point where I am interested in feel, dispersion, and consistency vs. raw distance. Can't wait for the fitting.

I opted for a combo set with the T350 in 5, 6, & 7, and the T200 for the 8, 9, P, & gap. The T350's are a great club, and so easy to hit, but I really enjoyed hitting the T200. At 68 years old I don't hit it long, and run about a 15-16 handicap, and the fitting recommended the T350 because surprisingly I'm not getting any younger, but I couldn't get away from the way the T200 felt. Only tough decision was the 7 iron. I guess a typical combo set usually would have the 7 iron in T200, but totally pleased with my decision.
    And yes the T200 is a great gap wedge, followed by a 54 & 58 SM9.
In 10 years of playing fitted clubs, this is the best set yet. Your results may vary.

Like Dale, I played the T300s and loved them. Had the 2019 model. Love the feel of the T350's. The forged 350's have the same forgiveness but the feel is over the top. Fitted with the same shafts and same set up. You know when you hit that perfect shot. WOW.
  9. I have a blended set of T-200 and T-350 irons … the update from 300 to 350 was great. I love the performance of 300 in my short irons particularly!

I went from the PXG gen 7 0311xp to the T350. The T350 can still keep up with the Gen7s, and hold the greens better. I credit the Titleist fitter Andy for that. I can't believe I can hit the ball further and have it stop shorter than the Pxgs. Its a great club for the high handicapper!
