MY NAME IS SAM BRANSTETTER FROM WICHITA, KANSAS. I TRIED THE PRO V 1X OUT, I HAVE BEEN PLAYING GOLF FOR AROUND 45 YEARS AND HAD MY BEST ROUND OF GOLF EVER. MY HANDYCAP IS 9, MY AGE IS 75, I REALLY DO LIKE THE NEW BALL.

did you know an x'd out golf ball is not on the conforming golf ball list. u can't play it if you play in any tournament that requires a conformfing ball. food for thought. i don't think this was one of the new prototypes that every one was trying. congrats on your best round

SAM,
The X-OUT ball is generally one that did not pass a quality control test at the factory. Sometimes it can be as simple as a misprint on the cover or something like the cover is the wrong thickness. There is no way to know for sure what caused the ball to be rejected, but there is something that didn't measure up. For the most part they play pretty well, but don't try to play them in a tournament. The new balls that were sent out for consumer trials are generally shipped out in plain whit boxes and have TEST printed on them. But don't worry, from what I hear they'll be on the market soon.
