    Hey gang,,simple question. at my driver fitting last spring i had a 100mph swing speed. My fitter said I was a bit "spinny" with @ 2140 spin rate off the driver and a launch angle of about 14.7 Ive been using Pro V 1.

    Im in a 8.5 deg TS1 Driver any experts think i should switch to the 1-X or VX?

    I order custom play # need need to stock up?

    A club head speed of 100, 2140 rpms, and 14.7 launch does not sound like a TS1 driver. TS2 or TS3? If so, the launch angle may be a bit high. The 2 options would be the AVX (BTW only custom #s are 1, 2, 3, or 4) or adjust the hosel. You could try decreasing the loft from A1. You don't necessarily want to use the AVX to improve your game solely off of driver. Buy a sleeve and see how either affects your short game from 100 yards to putts. Holding greens to your satisfaction is a better place to start.

    Or work with a pro. At $50 a dozen, getting the best ball tee to cup is worth doing right the first time.

    Why not get a sleeve of both and work from the green backwards and let that tell you.
