What, if any, are the 2019 improvements over the 2018 AVX golf ball?

    Mahalo!

I'm not positive, but I think the AVX may be on the same update schedule as the Tour Soft & DT Tru Soft, which would mean we won't see an updated version until 2020.

The AVX was officially released in Spring, 2018, after releasing in some markets late in 2017. While it does have a urethane cover, it didn't get updated with the 2019 Pro V models. DT TruSoft was released in the fall prior to the January 2018 Velocity/Tour Soft versions while the DT Solo had been on the same release schedule. Maybe AVX and/or DT TruSoft will have a separate release cycle from the other 2 cycles. Maybe a third cycle will help with marketing buzz as the other major ball suppliers release their lines every January. But the only news about the AVX since the introduction last Spring is the inclusion in the Loyalty sale this year.

Correct. No change to the AVX at this point. Same as originally released.

Do any Tour Pros; PGA Tour, Champions Tour, LPGA or Web.com tours, play the AVX Ball?
  6. I just switched to the AVX. I am loving everything about this ball! As far as I'm concerned, no changes necessary at the moment! Who knows what 2020 has in store for us, though.

I love the AVX. It’s the perfect t mix of spin and distance in my opinion. The greens around me are bent grass and are usually soaked in the summer so over spinning is a big concern with wedges. I love the balance of the AVX.
