Surely there are some motivated golfers in Ohio who can come through for Titleist in the mild 40's... Hook them up.

I'm sorry that S has packed his bag for the season and won't play the test balls. I live in Kentucky and play every chance I get even if it's in the 40s. I'm an avid Titleist player and would LOVE to receive a sleeve of test balls sometime. Maybe someday I'll get lucky.

The test panels are random and everyone that receives them gets the same follow up emails. I'm sure there are plenty of players in your region that would test them out.
Sounds pretty ungrateful to receive the opportunity in my opinion. Plenty never get the option to test.

I would be thankful you got a sleeve.. Not many people even get one.. If you're not playing anymore, why don't you putt around with the ball in the house and compare it to the other ball that you're currently playing with. See if you can feel the difference between the balls. Does it feel soft, etc.? Many things you can do to test the ball. If there's no snow on the ground, chip around outside to get a feel off the face...

OR, you can always dress up nice and warm and play a round solo.. Living here in the Northeast, i'm still playing whenever i get the chance.. So until that white stuff starts falling, I have some great FJ gear that keeps me warm making everyday playable for me.. YIIIPPEEE!!!!

I agree with speedy, lots of ways to test. Heck even though there is snow on the ground here, if i got them i would take them to the chipping green.

Played a round with the prototypes yesterday. 52 degrees and sunny. Only been playing around 8 years. Played 2 balls. The prototype and a chrome soft. Distance off most clubs was pretty comparable. The big difference I saw was it was a much straighter ball flight. Very forgiving for us amateurs. Only small complaint was on the putting surface it rolled true but felt like a marshmallow when you hit it. Well done TT.

I got a sleeve and played yesterday. It was in the upper 30's to low 40's. I would love to test them in warmer weather, but I love the opportunity to be able to do it even in the cold.

I got a sleeve to test this week here in Scotland. Played 1 round and done some chipping and putting, feel very much like a nxt tour s so far.

After second thought, this is just ungrateful.

Maybe you should just take yourself off of the testers list and let someone else have the opportunity to test. Just sayin'

If the purpose of the "test" balls is to test them against real life situations, then sending balls to a cold weather location in late fall is not a real life test situation. I live in the northeast, play until the snow fly's, and received a sleeve of "test" balls. I played them, although swinging with 4 layers of cloths is not the same as playing them with just a short sleeved shirt on. I filled out the survey as best I could based on the playing conditions I had. Would rather have received the balls in July. FYI, balls played similar to NXT Tour S balls, as best I could tell, playing in 40 degree weather.

Professionals don't always have perfect weather to play, take for example the Open Championship! I received my Test golf balls last week and played them that weekend. Conditions weren't perfect, 52 with cloudy skies (felt like 48), but played anyway! Survey was sent in and I still shot a 77. Titleist knows full well what area of the country they send the test balls to and expect them to be tried in any weather condition. That's what makes the "Test" a more reliable situation. Just my 2 cents.

The weather finally broke here in Northern VA ( no rain the past day or two) and I actually had time for a quick 9. Temperatures was about 48 degrees, chilly and overcast. I was able to play the test balls that I received last week. I typically play the NXT-S. The test ball had a nice straight flight with the driver. Distance was about the same, maybe a few more yards gained. I did notice that the ball felt softer around the greens and checked up nicely. Also the ball rolled true when putting. Overall I'd give this ball an A and I would definitely put this ball in my bag. Compared to the NXT-S, not much difference. I also can't wait to get out in warmer weather and give the test ball a run for its money. Like most on these boards, I will play until the snow flies. Testing is testing, when comparing ball against ball it doesn't really matter what the weather conditions are, because you are still comparing how the ball performs in the given moment. Thanks Titleist for giving me the opportunity to test one of your products.

Live in Michigan, went out and tested the sample against Tour Preferred, temp in the mid 40's. The sample felt great coming off the face, flew straighter and stopped as well as the TP for me. Test them against your normal brand in all conditions, I am sure Titleist would love to hear about the results. Keep it in the short grass.

I received the balls last week. Thanks Titleist. I managed to get a few holes in this week and I hit both my NXT and the test ball. The test ball felt better around the greens and putting but not much difference in long irons or driving. Thanks for the opportunity

"S" I understand what you are trying to convey , the first thing I see wrong with your post is not 1 thank you for being chosen. In a pinch you could've just putted with them indoors if it is too cold for you. Respect my friend.
