  1. Received a sleeve of "Test" balls a couple of weeks ago but held off using them until yesterday. Found the feel to be slightly harder than ProV series. Ball flight seemed unchanged, as did distance (70 degree day in New Jersey). Prefer a softer feel (and more 70 degree November days).

  2. Here, here James! Elated to receive test sleeve, but was hoping for June not October to test, especially here in Michigan! Waited for a week since day time highs were in upper 40's low 50's. Then on Nov 1st, we had the 78 degree day that you just had the day after. Took the day off to test. Agreed, need more of the 70 degree days of November!

We've been blessed this year with a mild fall here in Indiana. As always, very excited to get a sleeve of test balls to try. Sunday was mid sixty's the balls I received performed very well. Nice off the tee, decent and easy to shape with my irons, but really impressive on and around the greens. Going again this Sunday to see if they respond as well (or if I respond as well!) at 50 degrees. To be continued!

Liked the new ball. Seems longer. Trajectory appear lower and roll out is positive. Think it is longer that the Prov1x. Has nice bite on and around greens. Have been testing this ball since the end of September and it is definitely a winner. My last ball went for a swim today. My swing was way off from long list on honey-do things yesterday. =)

got my sleeve of test balls, but the pack says 2 sleeves....how many should I have received
  6. Tested the test ball Black 1 lost 2 of them in leaves but thought they went a little further and flight pattern was nice, putting them felt soft and true to strike. Enjoyed playing them and will switch to pro V 1's which I thought they were I will try them both out - ProV and Pro VX
Thanks for letting me test them

  7. Got my sleeve of "Testers" a couple of weeks ago but waited for milder weather to give them a fair test. These were Red balls, and I assumed they were ProV1X. They certainly performed that way. My admittedly unscientific testing over two rounds tells me that (1) They're a fraction longer than last year's X (2) They launch about the same, neither higher or lower. (3) They seem slightly more stable in the wind, especially crosswinds. (4) Around the green, the feel off the wedge when chipping is really nice, although the sound - both off the wedge (BV SM5) and the putter(a Cameron Newport) seems to be a fraction "clickier" if that makes sense. I had no issue with distance control though, so no issue. As usual, another outstanding product from Titleist.
