In the past I've used the DT Solo & NXT Tour and last winter I tried the NXT Tour S.  All three worked well in the winter and when I did loose one it wasn't a big deal (normally play the Pro V1x and hate loosing them).  This year from all I've read, it seems that the new DT Tru Soft may be a ball worth trying.  I don't see any harm in trying a different ball for the winter.  Who knows, you may like it so much you may not change back.

I use the same ball that I usually use during warm weather the Titleist Pro-V1. Personally I don't fell that there is a difference. Hope this helps!
