I'm Sure this question comes up all the time, How do I get on the test ball team? I'm currently a 5 Handi cap and made a big mistake this year and switched to the swoosh RZN Black. Last month I switched back to the Prov-1x and realized how far superior product Titleist really does have!!

Really simple.....Be active on the TT board! I think a lot of us (myself included), have tried other ball brands and we always realize, why mess with perfection? I agree that you cannot match another ball to the Titleist brand! I have been lucky to have been selected for a few of the TT ball testing and they have always performed just a little better in terms of feel and distance.

    Agreed with SGB!

Be active! Be #Titleist ! Be the Ball!

I have played Titleist for as long as I can remember but there is no ball like the Pro V1 and Pro V1x!

If you're playing whatever is in the bag or switching balls like your at a random driving range then you might as well play a bag full of 14 drivers.

Welcome back to playing a real ball! Play well! Play #Titleist !

Another important thing to remember is to make sure that your profile is fully filled out.

Thank you guys for the good feedback!! It is truly amazing how much difference there is between brands and now I chuckle to myself when I play rounds with buddies and no thought goes into the ball selection. They play whatever is cheap or what they  find.. Thanks again!

My all time favorite is the "found" water ball that one of the group retrieves from the local lake/pond, with some type of plankton or green undefined "fuzz" all on it and when it is cleaned up there is still no white showing thru, but they HAVE that free, found ball! When it actually gets hit, it makes that dead rock sound and flies (I use that word with a smirk) about 60 yards (if a lucky hit)! LOL!!

  7. Update your profile, post discussions and be active on Team Titleist! Coming here just once to make a profile probably won't be enough.

Why play whatever is in the bag or that sporting goods 2 for 1 deal? I think playing a golf ball based on that mentality just shows you don't care about your golf game very much. I am very protective of my Pro V. If I even feel or get the sense that someone in the distance is even attempting to walk towards my Pro V; I'll give a friendly Fore! type of shoutout. :D Good luck with golf ball testing! It's always a surprise to a little white box with the most amazing golf tool in the world!!!

I agree about the golf balls making a huge difference. Depending on the course that I play and the condition of the greens, I sometimes prefer the NxT Tour S over the Pro V1. If the greens are soft and receptive, I can get too much spin using the Pro V1. While I  have a single digit handicap, I am not skilled enough as the pros to hit it past the hole and spin it back reliably. Plus, on most of the courses that I play, it is far better to be below the hole than above it. I prefer to play the distance to the pin with the NxT Tour and have it sit more or less where it hits than hitting it past the hole and spinning it back.

Still, nothing but Titleist for me though.

So do think the NXT tour compares the prov-1x or just the pro-v?? I love the X model off the tee and around the greens. Iv'e never tried any of the other Titleist balls other than the Pro-v and the X!
