Dear Team Titleist,
Thank you for including me in your Pro-V1 ball test program. I felt glad to be able to participate and honored to have been asked. Thank you for sending me three TEST balls. Unfortunately I failed to gain any data for you other than that they had a propensity to end up in the woods or over a fence.
I kept them in my bag for some time, feeling that it was my duty to provide you with some positive information, I wanted to wait until I was in good form before risking using them. When I finally did take the chance to put them to use, I wanted real time data so I would hit my normal ball and then tee up one of my TEST balls. The normal ball would fly like any normal ball should, about 250 - 270 yards with a slight fade. The TEST ball seemed to jump just as I was about to hit it which would cause a miss-hit and the ball would subsequently roll about 10 yards to the left and ahead. This repeated itself about 4 times. I realized that I was probably trying too hard. I began blind hitting the balls. I took two balls in my pocket and teed them both up without knowing which it was. I would hit one or the other and then look at what was left. Invariably when I hit the TEST balls they all flew immediately into the woods or on one occasion over a fence due to a huge slice. There is either something wrong with the balls, which I highly doubt or I am not qualified to test balls for you, which is much more likely. I appreciate the thought and if you should care to try to trust my ability to supply you with good data in the future, I would be grateful for another chance.
Falied Miserably,
John Amos
