What's the significance behind the pink? Is this going to be a promo release for the Players Championship or other upcoming tournament?

nice, how do you get these and why are they sending them out?

Very nice Tim. Be sure to coordinate those with you pink FJs...just kidding.

Those are sweet! I saw a some of these in a box at the course, and I could only see the white one the sides. I thought it was odd since the normal boxes are black and brown. Anyway good job,Titleist!

That would be great if Titleist would make a pink ball for breast CANCER AWARENESS MONTH in OCTOBER, from now on the money would go to a good cause. My wife when through breast cancer and now is cancer free going on three years now. I would buy the golf balls every year.

While I believe in marketplace economics, and I frequently lobby for an optic yellow, i have to speak out against a pink ball. My wife at the tender age of ...almost retirment took up golf. Since she had gone to the US Women's Open last year and thought the colors were a nice touch, I got her some pink balls.
They are awful. Harder to follow than a white ball on a cloudy day and virtually impossible to find in the rough if there is browned growth laying around (leaves/twigs/seed pods), let alone OOB, especially towards dusk (am or pm).
She is getting the unused box of DT Solo's of mine, next. I may even get a box of ProVs Limited Edition as a compromise. After that, she gets to pick white or yellow if there is a choice. If I can pry the unused pink box from her fingers, First Tee will get them.

Don,
The balls themselves are not PINK, they are white with Pink sightline arrow instread of the grey for this years model. So should be no trouble seeing them

What's on its way to my mailbox? A dozen limited edition Pro-V1 pink golf balls!! (And a new pair of FootJoy DryJoy BOA's) - My credit card just knew I couldn't hold out much longer.
YAY!
Cathy
PS...Don...I highly recommend the DT So-Lo for your wife - I play them often (it was my hole-in-one ball!) - I also like the new Velosity ball...but when it comes to playing against the boys on the course - I'm going to need my Pro-V's. :)

Thanks for the recommendation. She will into the DT's soon. The pink balls (not the pink logo PV1s) are in the pile for my next First Tee dropoff. One would think that anyone that wouldn't get a matching set of clubs/bag combo based on color could have figured out that a soft feel ball wouldn't need to be pink.
Doh!

I love the pink number and sidestamp. I think they came out during The Players for Mother's Day. You can still find them here and there. I loved those pink hats too. I wonder if they sell those anywhere.
