As a birthday present to myself I booked a fitting at Manchester Lane. I never felt I was good enough to be fit but after researching it I decided that it was time. I went in on 8/9 at 9am. Thought that I was driving into someone's back yard at first but after coming around a bend, heaven appeared before me. This place is maintained as well as the top destination courses. I was fit by Chris with help from intern Shane (I think that was his name). After some get to know me and my wants, I was told to warm up then hit some baseline shots. I went in with an open mind and told Chris not to tell me what he was doing and just hand me the club. That way I didn't try to adjust my swing to the change. Chris was awesome and even gave me some swing tips that had an immediate impact. Finished off in the short game area with some chipping and bunker shots. Got some good bunker tips also. Overall I would say that this was an excellent experience. I was actually surprised with my fit. Didn't even know what I was getting until I opened the email. TSR3 driver (Tensei AV White Raw 65 stiff), 3 wood (Tensei 1K Black 75 stiff), 19 & 21 degree hybrids (both Tensei 1K Black 95 stiff) / T350 3G 5-W48 (Nippon 850GH stiff) / SM9 54.12.D and 60.10.S (Nippon 950GH stiff). Never thought I would be in the TSR3 or in stiff shafts but the numbers and the ball flight don't lie. Probably too excited to get these clubs in my hands. Can't wait to bring them to the TTI in Scottsdale. Sorry to run on but just want to say that if you can you really need to get to Manchester Lane or the TPI in Oceanside.
