I currently play the 2019 model T300s with the R300 AMT Red shafts and hit them with average results. Age (75) and physical issues (pulmonary, arthritis in lower back, and hips). I have been thinking about going to see my fitter and trying the T400 model and try a few shafts, of course all based on the results from Trackman. I know I will automatically pick up yards based of clubs being 3* stronger than the T300s, per club. Has anyone played the T400s? How do they feel and what is your opinion on the heads? Think I might conside something that will take less effort. One of my buddies went with the new T300s with the graphite shafts and they really look and feel great. Better weight distribution and the bottom seems thinner. =)

Reach out to Don O. I believe he went T400 at some point. I know they did not upgrade the T400 model during the last iron release so they might not even continue the T400 line in the future due to limited sales and so much love for T300. As you already know, doesn't matter what works or doesn't work for any of us, just what works best for you. At least we are still out there giving it a try. Oh, if sole depth is an issue for you, the T400 is even wider at the bottom. I'm a "thin bottom" guy. Any thinner and I would have to wear suspenders.

Ha! If I were any heavier, I’d be in suspenders.

Agree that the wide split sole on the T400 affects playability.

I moved from AP1 to C16 and eventually to the T400. The move was made due to neck and back problems causing lower swing speed and loss of distance. When I bought the T400 they had the Fubuki R flex graphite. The difference between those and the C16 with Pro Modus 105 R flex steel was a pleasant surprise. Even though the loft is much stronger in the T400 the peak height of shots is impressive. The T400 still launches higher than the C16 or my old AP1's, in similar numbered clubs. 6i is the longest iron I carry now and there is no gap between that and the TSi1 20* hybrid. I've been able to switch to True Temper XP95 shafts and maintain the same distance. It has also tightened up dispersion as well. I've not found anything negative about the clubs and have had them in play since shortly after Titleist released them. I would suggest giving them a good look if they have a good assortment of shafts for you to demo. I hope they are gold for you, too.

I play the T200 but a friend of mine has the new T300 in the bag and he told me that the new version is much better then the 2019 model, even more forgiving and longer.

My buddy who has the new T300s and really likes them. Hits them farther then his 2019 set. He did go with a graphite shaft. Of course he grew up playing golf and has a refined swing. I took up the game in 1985 after play softball for 26 years and my game is kinda homemade. I do have a coach who works with me and my biggest issue is my tempo. Who I play badly I go back to my softball swing. When I hit the T300s pure they are dead on target and feel sweeeeeeeeeeeet. Thanks Dale, do not know if I was to go with wider soles. Might just try the newer model T300s with a different shaft and continue to work on the game.

Hope you don't wear a belt with you suspenders. Not cool. =)

I went to the 2021 T series release, thinking no one could take my T400’s from my fingers. Well, now try to take my 2021 T300’s out of my hands. When comparing the 2 based ion equal degrees, the new T300 is all the equal of the T400. My one complaint with the T400 was the wide split sole is harder to dig out balls in deep rough. Likewise the different playability from the W (43 degrees) to a 48F Vokey is so much different than the T300 P to the Vokey for short game, I have more flexibility in the short game in choosing P or Vokey.

The T400 won against the 2019 T300 for me. I wonder if there will be a 2022 T400. Will it follow the T-MB and some of the CNCPT irons? I did try the CNCPT (4?) at Pinehurst but it was only marginally better and I couldn’t justify the $500 per club to upgrade from the T300. If money had been no object…

Incidentally, I have (had) the same Fubuki 50 g R flex shaft in both T versions. TPI fitted the T300 irons and we tried several different shafts. The T200 felt great but I did better with the T300

Good feedback on the newer T300s. I believe these are the 2021 series and the next release on these should be in the fall of 2023, so I can wait until then and work a little more on my game and expect that they will even be better than this model. Our course has some to do with my struggles also. It is at least 8 strokes harder that before the renovation. If you are off six inches here or there on the green you can be in serious trouble. Makes me think too much and than is real dangerous. In this past year, new driver, fairway, two wedges and putter. Guess irons are due on the next cycle. Maybe they will have some of the T300s are the event in FL in September. If so I will definitely give them a shot and see how they feel and perform. My only concern about ordering clubs now is delivery. I know the issues and understand. That is why I am will to wait until next year. Thanks for the info on the new T300s, Don. As Dale mentioned, they might no even continue the T400s. Cheers, guys. =)
