Where is the best place I can go to get fitted for some Titleist irons. Is a PGA tour superstore the best bet. I will be getting some 714 Cbs or AP2s and want to do it right. I want to be fitted for shaft, lie and all..

You can search for a Titleist fitter here: http://www.titleist.com/golf-club-fitting/#Fitting_Network

Indoors on a mat only simulates the real world. When looking for a fitter, look for an outdoor site using turf. An advanced fitting center, if within a reasonable drive, will have more shaft options to try than the average pro shop. Big boxes are geared more to selling by marketing and not necessarily just for you. How many fitters can really know 10 companies' products?

Chris D,
I would highly recommend a Titleist fitting session using a Trackman Launch Monitor, outdoors, off grass. You would be very impressed by the education you get from the Titleist Fitter about the swing, club, contact and flight.

Hi, Cathi.
I'm in Shreveport, LA and just bought a set of 712 AP2's. I'd like to get a fitting and have the clubs adjusted. Is the Jim McClain School in Dallas/Fort Worth the closest advanced/outdoor fitting in relation to Shreveport, LA?
Thanks,
Jim.
Hi Jim, Yes, it would be the closest and Kyle Cronkright is the fitter there and here is the number to reserve a fitting appointment: (817)303.4370

I would highly recommend getting fitted by Kyle Cronkright at the Jim McLean Golf Center in Fort Worth, TX. He gives you absolutely everything you need to know about what driver, irons, shafts, hybrid or driving irons, wedges, putter, everything. He will give you actual distances traveled and rolled distance. Will also determine what shafts gives you the best opportunity to hit the shots you are accustomed to hitting. At the end he gives you a written form with everything on it he fitted you for. Definitely worth it.
Definitely!
