is it me or a lot of tour players are now using overlapping grip, almost all young players, why?

I didn't notice that but, I would think it might have something to do with the "Tiger effect". Kids growing up wanted to be like him, and copied his grip. Just an guess?Brad
well Brad i think tw don't use overlapping grip, but for sure kids want to copied him and may be some older boys!!!

Holy Moly Martin. I feel like a dumby! I thought you were talking about interlocking! I blame it on having a 2 month old at home and the lack of sleep.
The overlap has always been the most common grip, and the most commonly taught. That might be the reason. Now I'm going to take a nap, baby is out with mommy, maybe then I will be able to read posts properly.

lolll Brad, i know what to talk about, i have two boys 4 and 3 years old and i still wait for sleeping!!!! But i thought interlocking was the most common grip on tour that why i'm so surprise to see overlapping grip so often.

Overlapping grip feels so uncomfortable, go with what feels right!
