    Like him or not. LIV or PGA Tour. Neither of those issues matters. After the tee shot on 18 in the US Open followed by the bump out into the bunker 55 yards away, the sand save from 55 yds by DeChambeau was a 1 in 100 performance. He demonstrated his great hands on his short game with the ProV1x (Left Dash) over and over again throughout the tournament, but probably only he thought he would get up and down from that bunker to make par and win ! An awesome performance for sure ! I felt sorry for Rory as I was rooting for him. Another second place in the U.S. Open. I recall watching Payne Stewart winning by 1 stroke with a great putt many years ago. Unfortunately for Phil, he came in second 6 times at the US Open. Rory still has a chance to win another :)

    Great golf I was going for Rory for to win .

    Dechambeau did play well and congratulations to him and his team.

    I have to admit, my thoughts of him changed after this performance. He proved to be somewhat "normal" and is really trying to get his image back. Good for him.

    Rory would gladly trade all his second place finishes at majors for one Masters. That's what stung Phil so much, the US Open was all he needed for the lifetime Grand Slam. Rory needs that Masters win and Jordon needs a PGA Championship. I do feel like the fracturing of professional golf is bad and the general population is disgusted one way or another but it has elevated the four majors even more than before as these are the only events where the best all come together.

    I never used to like him because he was so slow and boring to watch. After he beefed up he has changed a lot and is very likeable now.
