Robert MacIntyre won the Canadian Open by one stroke on a day when we saw a lot of low scores. This was his first win on the PGA Tour and to have his father on the bag had to make it even more special for both of them ! I see Robert Maintyre has a lot of Titleist equipment in his bag including the TSR2 Driver Titleist Irons and Vokey Wedges. This win marks another win this season for the ProV1. Nice to see a good showing by our Canadian tour players this year. It would have been nice to see back to back Canadian winners but I guess we will have to wait until next year for another Canadian to take home the trophy. Over all - a good tournament. Hopefully we will see more of the top stars next year. The Canadian Open deserves it !!!

    Some great Sunday golf indeed.

For being the third oldest event on tour (behind the Open and the US Open) The Canadian Open sure could use some scheduling love. Two weeks after the PGA, two weeks before the US Open and the week before the Memorial is certainly going hurt the draw. At least they moved it from the week after the Open.

A great weekend of golf though to say the least. Titleist, Hamilton G&CC, and Golf Canada should all be proud. Thanks all!

Yep, the course looked great and it was an exciting week where a number of players could have pulled off the win. Congrats to Robert.

Yes, great win for Bob, even with the drone buzzing him.
It seems the Canadian open never gets proper scheduling, always used to be the week before or after the Open (British) not ideal either, but with so many signature events now if you were a pro what week would you take off?
I think it should be at the end of June so the turf could be in prime condition, it's a good thing Ontario's growing season is a month ahead Alberta, even in the best year our turf wouldn't be ready at the end of May. Maybe that's why it never comes here.
