So - the FedEx Cup Season is over in a dramatic finish at East Lake. I for one am happy for Rory and how he fought hard to win even starting down 5 strokes at the beginning of the final playoff tournament. The season was shortened, the timing of the majors have been rearranged, and the playoffs cut to only three tournaments. Of course there was the change in the scoring format for the final round. I liked the new scoring format as it made it so much easier to see where everyone sat from Thursday right through to Sunday. It was nice not having to try and calculate who had to do what in order to get the right amount of points to take the title. I call it a success... I am curious to hear your thoughts on the new format :)
